Iconic 2 & 3

Often when confronted with small plants and animals I used to grab my macro lens first and ask questions later. A good macro shot is nice, but this tells us nothing about the place these organisms live in. When the conditions are right I go for the wide-angle. Above are two more high alpine Icons, Edelweiss and Apollo butterfly (the Small Apollo or Phoebus Apollo Parnassius sacerdos).

Icoon 2 & 3

Met kleine planten en dieren ging ik vroeger eerst , zonder na te denken naar mijn macrolens. Een groter uitdaging is om dieren en planten te laten zien in de habitat waarin ze leven. Als ik nu de kans krijg en de omstandigheden zijn goed ga ik voor de groothoek. Hierboven nog twee Icoonen van de hooggebergte: Edelweis en Apollovlinder (de kleine apollovlinder Parnassius sacerdos).
